Remember how in the last update I was feeling kinda sick and (shamefully) slept through the conclusion of the campaign? Well, it turns out I had come down with a case of COVID that laid me out for the full week that followed... 😷 I'm in the clear now, but still catching up on everything that piled up during that 3-week absence... Between the traveling and then the self-quarantine, the entire month of May just disappeared in the blink of an eye!

But we've been catching up quickly this week, and we're happy to report that the Smoke Test Surveys have gone out this afternoon!

If you're not sure what the "Smoke Test" is, Backerkit sends a Beta draft of our surveys to about 10% of the backer list to make sure there aren't any hidden bugs, errors, or questions to address before sending out the full survey. They usually suggest waiting 24 hours or until 75% of those test survey are answered before sending out the rest, so if you're one of the lucky 10% to get your survey today, please fill it out!

As soon as we're comfortable that the surveys are solid, we'll send out the rest to everyone else. That'll likely happen at some point over the weekend, so expect them all to arrive on or before Monday. Keep an eye out for an email from "[email protected]" saying "Response Needed" in the subject line.

I know we're late on expressing this considering the campaign ended last night, but THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!
To be honest, I've been sick since yesterday morning and I totally slept through the grand finale... that is so unlike me! :P Even today I'm pretty bedridden, but I just had to express our gratitude for making this such a great campaign.

What's next, you ask?
We'll get the Pledge Manager set up next week so that we can get surveys out to you shortly. The new book is done and it is going to the printer this week, along with the slipcase files. We should be all set to have everything ready to ship to you in October.

We have been pretty silent here with no true updates since the campaign launched -- I woefully admit that I failed to mention the fact that I would be traveling these past 2 weeks, with little anticipated internet access, hence the lack of correspondence here. We're back, however, and just in time for the big finale!

Since the last update, you've unlocked 3 bonus stretch goal items that will be added to EVERY PHYSICAL ORDER!

With only one day left, we went ahead and revealed the FINAL STRETCH GOAL: a 2" metal Challenge Coin featuring artwork by Peach Momoko!


To be honest, I'm not sure if we'll hit that final goal -- these past 2 weeks have been flatter than usual, which may be due to our traveling, but who knows... $5k in the final day should be achievable, but based on the mathematical averages of the campaign over the past 3 weeks, hitting that final goal will be a real squeaker...

Hi everyone! Happy Friday!

This is our first campaign launched on a Thursday (we normally launch on Tuesdays), so we're a little thrown off schedule by the sudden weekend, but what a nice way to end the week!

Not only did we hit our goal in 35minutes, but we slammed through the initial Stretch Goal, unlocking a FREE two-sided mini movie poster with every physical pledge!


Next up: STICKERS!
You may be thinking there's a big jump from the starting goal to the next stretch goal, but we intentionally use the first day's performance to set the stretch goal milestones so as to keep things revealed at a suitable pace throughout the campaign to keep things interesting... we have several more Bonus Freebies planned, but unlocking them will depend on the continued support of the campaign... SPREAD THE WORD and SHARE WITH YOUR FRIENDS to bring more people to the project! That way, everyone will benefit from unlocking more stuff!

While we were preparing this update just now, we also hit our 500 Backer Goal, too!


Now, all backers will get a digital wallpaper pack added to their pledge (at any tier)!
We have another goal set at 1000 Backers (all backer names/IDs included in the digital edition) and at 1500 Backers (producing a NEW 5-track soundtrack w/ FREE digital download).
